Sammamish Town Center
Shook Kelley is performing the services of Master Planning, Site Analysis and Architectural Design for a new 100+ acre mixed-use, phased town center development on the urban fringe of Seattle. The project is currently being planned according to a Form Based Code model, with the first stages of a Pattern Book underway.
The new Sammamish Town Center is envisioned to be a gathering place with well-designed mixed-use development, cultural and recreational opportunities. In addition to providing a variety of retail and housing opportunities, the master plan for Sammamish Town Center will include innovative, site sensitive designs to protect the surrounding natural areas, incorporating significant new open spaces to connect to the existing trails and recreational opportunities.
The transit-oriented lifestyle center will also add new roads and other infrastructure including regional storm water management, regional parking solutions, a pedestrian-friendly street network and other low-impact development techniques.
