Shook Kelley worked in collaboration on a CNU Legacy Project design charrette to develop an incremental and neighborhood plan that builds on the success of a food kitchen for the Highland neighborhood in Gastonia, NC. Amid economic pressures that cities face today, this Legacy charrette is the first step in realizing this community-driven development. Moreover, it also begins to envision how the Highland community can retain its history while also growing into a healthy community for all residents. Read the CNU report here.
