Linking Planning and Design for a Community-Based NORC
Terry Shook FAIA returns to the LeadingAge Annual Meeting as a session speaker October 27 in Atlanta. The session will revisit Shook Kelley's strategic planning process for Aldersgate and its single-site, non-profit retirement community to be more in alignment with emerging Baby Boomer expectations. The topics will focus on the goals of creating a NORC (Naturally Occurring Retirement Community), highlighting key steps that senior living organizations can take to link strategic planning with a physical master plan, and conduct inclusive and comprehensive outreach to current residents and the broader community.
