First Place Winner – Conversion Supermarket for Gelson's Market Manhattan Beach

Lakeside Pointe, master planned and designed by Shook Kelley, took home top honors as Community of the Year for detached homes in the 2026 Major Achievements in Marketing Excellence (MAME) Awards — presented by the Home Builders Association of Greater Charlotte to celebrate outstanding achievements in homebuilding across the region.

The Beatties Ford Road Corridor was recognized for a 2024 Urbie, a recognition and celebration of urban design in Charlotte. Within the Beatties Ford Road Corridor are ongoing planning and development projects led by Historic West End Partners, LISC Charlotte, and Five Points Community Collaborative with Neighboring Concepts, Shook Kelley and other members of the communuity.
